"The Holidays" are over

Momma finally has some time to help me write more. She said now that "the holidays" are over, we can "settle back into a good routine".

Momma said "it's a new year now". I'm not sure what she means but I know that Daddy had to start going back to work every day and even had to go on an overnight trip. I miss Daddy but I like that Momma and I get to stay home and I can sleep in my crib instead of my car seat.

I enjoyed seeing lots of people over the holidays and my new toys are pretty nice. Momma said her favorite is my new tummy time toy. She has been making me lay on my tummy more and I really don't like it. I did figure out that if I just lay there for a little while, screaming or not, then she lets me lay on my back and play for a while. So I try to just lay there and not scream until my neck gets too tired. I like to laying on my back because then I can scoot around by arching my back and pulling myself with my legs or by pulling my legs on the bars of my mat. Momma took these pictures of me before the Ohio State game.

Momma said I should mention how upset I was that the Rose Bowl game that Ohio State played in was on after my bedtime. I missed the whole thing, but Daddy said that Ohio State played well and won so it's okay. Momma tried to take some pictures of me before the Rose Bowl game, but I was just too upset to smile.

I've been waking up more at night because I'm hungry. Momma said that maybe I'll get to start eating some "solid food" after my next visit to see Dr. Beck on my 5 month birthday. She said she will have to check to see if milk is still hurting my tummy first though. I hope she doesn't eat too much at once and make me go stinky all over my clothes.

Okay, I'm going to go to bed now. Night, night.
