Hi Big World!

Hi Big World. I've only been here a short time but I'm really enjoying each day and the new experiences. I'm over a month old so let me start out telling how the first couple weeks have gone.

My momma went to the hospital to get things started early on August 19th. She worked hard and I didn't make it easy but by lunchtime I had arrived. They say I was a "big boy". I wasn't super happy at first but each day it gets a little better.

At the hospital I met lots of nice ladies. They helped my momma and daddy to take care of me before leaving. I also met two ladies named "Grandma" and to guys named "Grandpa". I also met a few cousins, aunts, uncles and some of momma and daddy's friends.

Before we left the hospital I got all strapped into my spaceship and away we went. Momma and Daddy took me to a place they called "Home". It was bigger than the room at the hospital but still pretty comfortable. Before I was even out of my spaceship I met to kittys named "Eddie" and "Tatum".

Over the next few days I spent a lot of time sleeping and learning my way around home. My new bed was big at first but before long it felt just right. My momma said I slept a lot because of "jaundice". I kept having to go back to the doctor so he could poke at me. I guess because I slept so much I didn't eat enough and then I had to go to the doctor to get on the "scale". Before a month old though, I figured it all out and didn't have to go back to the doctor so much.

When I was just a couple weeks old, momma took me to visit daddy at work. I met more people who said I was "cute". That week I also got a picture with the doctor who helped me arrive and visited momma's work to see her friends there. That weekend, momma woke me up and told me it was "game day" and put me in my first Ohio State outfit to "watch the game". I didn't see anything that special about the day; I slept most of it anyway. Now almost every weekend momma wakes me up to "it's game day baby" and puts me in one of few "special OSU shirts". I really don't see what all the fuss is about; its the day daddy likes to watch lots of the same show on TV all day long. He keeps telling me someday I'll understand and seems pretty excited about it.

The next weekend my momma and daddy took me to this placed called "church" where a bunch of people kept looking at me and telling momma I was "very precious". I also went to the "fair" that weekend. It was very very noisy. Momma seemed most excited about the food and daddy talked to a bunch of different people he knew.

So that was my first month. I'll touch back after my afternoon snack and let you know how the last three and half weeks have been.
